HOHDI Achievements in the Year 2021
750 IDPs and 600 other indigenes in 10 LGAs of Faskari, Kankara, Jibia, Katsina, Rimi, Kurfi, Ingawa, Danja, Kaita and Charanchi benefited from Ramadan feeding. 211 women were empowered with revolving micro credit loan in Kafur, Maiaduwa, Baure, Katsina, Rimi, Kankia, Charanchi, Kusada, Mashi, Batsari, Daura, Sandamu and Bakori LGAs. 3,000 IDPs in Faskari, Yankara, Kankara, Mabai, Jibia, Batsari and Danmusa also benefited from our Eid-El Kabir feeding. 190 women and 10 youths from 20 LGAs were given a minimum of twenty thousand naira (₦20,000) each from the Zakkat Fund of APT Securities & Funds Ltd. 150 participants from 30 LGAs benefited from our entrepreneurship lecture at Katsina Old Government House Conference Hall in September 2021. 30 LGAs reached out with credible teams in place. Radio Jingle sensitisation was executed for youths to embrace entrepreneurship, self-reliance and avoid substance abuse. A public lecture, "Skills Acquisition for Self Reliance" was organised to celebrate 'The 2021 United Nations Youth Skills Day' on the 15th of July, 2021 in Katsina 6 IDPs were offered free medical intervention at the Orthopedic Hospital Katsina and Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Katsina, Katsina state.
